A "bad interview" can mean a lot of things; the candidate believes retrospectively that he or she flopped on a majority of the questions, he or she didn't adequately prepare for the interview, the candidate is dressed inappropriately, says something offensive or arrives late, or a personal issue- like a family death or a break-up - distracts the candidate during the interview, among other things.

It's not uncommon to come across a lazy co-worker, and they are not always easy to deal with! Carping and tattling won't get you anywhere, but there are a few things you can do to alleviate the issue.

Here are 11 tips for dealing with the lazy co-worker from Stever Robbins, a top executive coach graduated from MIT and Harvard Business School.
面對偷懶的同事，擁有麻省理工和哈佛商學院學歷的美國頂尖高階主管教練 Stever Robbins建議以下十一項處理的方式：
1. Don't let them distract you. 別因為他們而讓自己分心。
2. Don't get caught up in the issue of fairness. 別執著於公平不公平的問題。
3. Don't let it affect your attitude. 別因為他們偷懶而影響自己的態度。
4. Don't tattle. 不要大嘴巴。
5. Don't let their ways rub off on you. 別跟著學同事偷懶起來。
6. Don't let their work become your responsibility. 別把他們的工作變成你的責任。
7. Don't let them affect your success. 勿讓他們影響你成功。
8. Use the opportunity to become the leader.利用此機會好好認真，晉申領導階層。
9. Don't gossip or complain to other colleagues. 別跟其他同事八卦或抱怨。

Did you get it? 美國人常常掛在嘴邊的一句話，可以被譯為「你懂了嗎？」，也可以說是「你拿到（東西）了嗎？」而在GET後面加入不同的詞句，則有更多不同解釋。 

有一次一名學員問他的外籍老師：「英文裡到底有沒有沒"Long time no see"這樣的說法？」那老外剛好是一名語言學專家，似笑又非笑。想了一下，才說，no and yes! 以前不是，現在是。

中國在世界的影響力越來越大中國式思維造成的"Chinglish"，有創意的部分甚至可能列入標準英語，像"long time no see"(好久不見)這個片語已列入牛津字典。當然，進入英文詞典並不等於被母語為英語的人廣泛使用。我問過很多老外，他們說在家鄉從未聽過Long time no see，也不知道W.C(廁所)是什麼。

西方人和我們溝通的重點不太一樣。跟外籍人士學英文，或是看各類的影集節目，學到的「溝通策略」比「文法單字」更寶貴。下面是一些常見的溝通方式，學起來，下次你也可以這樣用。
