很多片語你單看其中一個字都不會有問題，可是湊在一起時，你就怎麼猜也猜不到了。像是cash cow、loss leader、generic product等，你猜得到它們是什麼意思嗎？這些詞在一般商業雜誌上出現的機率超過九○％，更是商業人士之間經常流通的語言。

1. make a debut 初試啼聲、首次出現、新品問市
「debut是一個法文字，意思是初次登台。後來被商業界拿來使用，當企業推出新商品時，就可以用這個片語。

This phone for business users is expected to make a debut in Q2 or Q3 of 2007 and will retail for a price around 340 Euros.

2. launch a product 推出產品

In just three weeks, we're going to launch our new shampoo product.

3. own-brand product 自有品牌商品

generic product (generics) 無品牌商品
All name brand products and generic products are reviewed for safety and effectiveness by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

4. cash cow 搖錢樹： 
money spinner 撈錢貨
很會替你公司賺錢的商品都是你公司的cash cow或money spinner。
This new mobile phone is a real cash cow! We haven't done any advertising at all and it just keeps selling.

5. loss leader 廉價招攬品：
產品被稱為loss leader，其實就是零售商用極低的價格來引起消費者的注意，希望帶動消費者來購買其他商品。
During the 1960s, the strategy of large retailers was to identify the most popular items from toy makers and use them as loss leaders to draw in parents.

6. marketing blitz 強勢行銷攻勢
blitz這個字的音讀起來是不是有「閃電」的感覺？行銷像閃電一樣，你想想會是什麼感覺？當然攻勢有些強烈囉！
If this marketing blitz doesn't sell this product, nothing will.

7.recall a product 回收產品
It is also open to companies themselves to remove or recall a product from sale if they suspect a food is unsafe.
