英文裡我們經常會遇到兩個字連用的「對稱英文」，像是tossing and turning(輾轉難眠)、 safe and sound(平安歸來)，這些字不僅是意義上有對稱，連發音也對稱。這些字就好比中文裡的忙忙碌碌、來來去去、匆匆忙忙、兢兢業業..... 商業英語裡同樣地也會有許多這種「對稱英文」，用得好就會把語言變得有豐富感。

1. wheeling and dealing 當我們形容一個人wheeling and dealing時，指的是這個人喜歡玩弄手腕。當然這個idiom也可以用來形容一個複雜而有點政治意味的情況。 
Since the beginning of the election campaign, there's been a lot of wheeling and dealing going on.

2. movers and shakers 指的是行動派、有影響力的人。運用一點聯想力，什麼人會起身自己搬運東西或搖晃人喚起他人意識？就是那些想要推動事情的人。
Movers and shakers are assembling in Brussels for the summit.

3. nuts and bolts 基本要素、具體細節。
Law school teaches wonderful theory but it doesn't teach the nuts and bolts of actually practicing law.

4. too many chiefs and not enough Indians 多頭馬車。下指令人的人太多，做事的人太少。
When there are too many chiefs and not enough Indians, I worry about how decisions get made.

5. bricks and mortar/ bricks and clicks 實體通路／實體與網路通路
Click businesses are usually more flexible than brick-and-mortar operations.

6. hustle and bustle 忙忙碌碌、熙熙攘攘
I like the hustle and bustle of office's llife.
